Under his leadership, Strategic Planning Partners has developed portfolios aimed at reducing market volatility and delivering consistent returns while safeguarding principal. Matt is a graduate of the University of Idaho and proudly continues to support his alma mater as a member of the Planned Giving Board. By combining his passion for Idaho with his professional expertise, he helps create meaningful solutions that benefit both donors and the University.

His commitment to service extends beyond his clients and into the community through a long-standing involvement with Rotary International. His dedication has made an impact locally and globally, including supporting his sons’ participation in Rotary Youth Exchange programs. Matt strives to embody the principles of Rotary’s 4-Way Test in both his personal and professional life.

Golf has become a friendly rivalry between Matt and his sons; filled with laughter, travel, and unforgettable memories on courses near and far. Outside of golf, Matt enjoys CrossFit, hiking, water recreation, fishing, and spending time with his German Wirehair Pointer - all of which keep his calendar happily full. He also has a passion for traveling the world, experiencing diverse cultures and cuisines, and building lifelong friendships, while embracing a deeply grateful and blessed life.
